ASSEMBLY TEAM LEAD

We are looking for an experienced Assembly Team Lead to join our team working in our Malvern, PA facility. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Assembly Team Lead will be responsible for assembling, soldering and testing of electromechanical devices and subassemblies as well as trouble-shooting and repairing returned components and equipment. Main Responsibilities:


  • Assemble and test electrolytic cells and subassemblies.
  • Test, analyze and rework returned cells, PCB boards and finished goods.
  • Conduct design verification and validation tests in compliance with FDA requirements for medical devices.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Quality Assurance and Field Service personnel to understand and trouble shoot issues.
  • Identify potential solutions to technical problems.
  • Conduct new product performance and reliability testing.
  • Maintain record of work and results.
  • Assist with other Engineering and Technology projects.

Key Qualifications:


  • Two year degree from a technical school preferred, but comparable experience will be considered.
  • Minimum 4 years experience working in an assembly environment which includes manual assembly, soldering and electronic testing.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical components and software controls strongly preferred.
  • Experience testing FDA-regulated products and GMP experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with field service technicians and customers to understand, replicate, and help diagnosis technical problems.
  • Working knowledge of data management software such as Excel or Access.
  • Strong critical thinking skills to develop new ideas for and solutions to technical issues.
  • Ability to bend, reach and lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to self-manage, track progress and meet deadlines along with a strong attention to detail and precision.
  • Positive attitude and strong collaborative/team approach to work
